Permafrost PS5 Release Date: Confirmed News vs Rumors

Is there a confirmed PS5 release date?

No confirmed PS5 date was found in first-party information reviewed on October 10, 2026. The widely mentioned October 9, 2026 is the PC Early Access release, following an official postponement from August 21.

The developer-publisher dated July announcement specifically moved the launch date for Permafrost. It does not establish a PlayStation release.

What would count as a real console announcement?

A reliable new PS5 date should appear on a publisher/developer page or a PlayStation Store listing for this exact game. An unaffiliated blog guessing 2027 or transferring the PC launch date to PS5 is not sufficient.

When you see a claim, verify the game developer SpaceRocket Games, publisher Toplitz Productions, the platform PS5, and a dated official statement. Until then, the answer remains TBA, not a guessed month or year.
