Permafrost Price: Early Access Cost and Launch Discount

What does Permafrost cost?

The developer announced a $24.99 US list price for the PC Early Access launch with a 20% introductory discount. On October 10, 2026, the US public store showed $19.99 after that discount. This is a dated US reference, not a universal price for every country.

Price field	October 10, 2026 reference
US list price	$24.99
Introductory discount	20% off
US discounted price	$19.99
Sale end shown by SteamDB	October 23, 2026
Purchase platform verified	Steam / Windows PC

The publisher price announcement explicitly says custom regional pricing is offered, so currency conversions alone will not predict checkout.

How to check your current local price

1. Open the official Permafrost Steam store page.
2. Sign into the Steam account / regional store you intend to use.
3. Check the current total and sale expiration there. Prices and tax treatment depend on your store location and can change after the introduction period.
4. Verify that the page shows AppID 2254990 by SpaceRocket Games / Toplitz Productions.

A third-party historical reference is SteamDB’s Permafrost price chart. SteamDB tracks public store prices, not your personal coupon balance, gift card eligibility or tax checkout.

Do you need to buy to try this game?

The wiki itself is free to read but is not a free browser demo or game download. The listed title is a paid Early Access PC product. Check the official store for any currently offered demo or access options rather than trusting unrelated “free play online” claims.

Before paying, read the review-oriented buyer checklist and system requirements. For different availability questions, use Steam identity and PS5 status.
